This is a Y-shaped rubber strap keep the face mask in position during use over the face. The strapping should be across the patients cheeks and its long arm is hooked across the top of head. The straps are to be attached to metal clips around the connector of the face mask. The strap should be kept as loose as possible because with firm tightening the mask may cause pressure damage to face.
