Circle Absorber

The equipment for circle absorber essentially include one large plastic sodalime canister with inlet and outlet ports with unidirectional valves where inspiratory and expiratory corrugated rubber tubes are attached, one bagmount to attach a rebreathing bag, one inlet for fresh gas flow, and one off/on control to allow the gases to pass through the absorber. The Mark3 circle absorber is usually transparent canister containing two chambers with three screens, one in top,one in bottom and the third acts as a divider in the central part. At the top and at the bottom of canister two rubber Ring Sealing are fitted and at the center there is a Rubber Seal Centre. Total air space in canister is 1921cc; Capacity is 1.8kg of soda lime. The exhaled carbondioxide gas absorption in circle system initially starts at the inlet and then progressively along the sides.
